Why am I interested in Personal Psycology? Studying my inner self!

Interpersonal Psycology is an interesting field in the simple perspective of it making one look inward. Numerous times throught my personal life I have had to make decisions and adjustment as to how to approach my life an the manner in which I deal with lifes challenges. Weither it is dealing with friends, close business associates or the public in general how I look upon myself is a direct reflection as to how I look upon others. My personality has always been extroverted, I have never been shy or afraid of social contact. Public speaking has never been a problem and I actually enjoy talking with others. I am usually positive in attitude and make every attempt to be conscientious in my dealing with others to be forthwright and equal in my assesment and treatment of others.

This assesment process I undertake makes me somewhat agreeable yet not naive in my actions to what others say and believe. I attempt to be open and receiving with regard to the input of others yet having travelled the world I am somewhat opinionated with regard to how the world actually looks upon the actions of my country and how they address my country. I have a very strong sense of myself and when I see weakness or what I perceive to be naivity (learned knowledge from CNN, NBC, ABC or Public TV or Radio as factual representation) I do become defensive and somewhat condecending. I often say to myself "This person is a clone of the reports as relayed on CNN or other networks." Do they actually think for themselves? This is a thought process I must be self aware of and watch over to insure I donot squash intelligent debate and consideration.
